International students from the University of Nyíregyháza explored the historical and cultural highlights of Nyíregyháza’s city center. This sightseeing walk is a traditional university program; this year, it was organized in multiple sessions for newly arrived students. Once again, Dr. Kálmán Kiss, a lecturer at the Institute of Language and Literature Studies, delivered an interactive presentation on the city's history to the young participants.

Diplomacy plays an important role in strengthening international cooperation, fostering mutual understanding, and creating opportunities for meaningful exchange between countries. The relationship between Indonesia and Hungary reflects this spirit through cooperation in education, trade, culture, tourism, and international dialogue.

Our international students recently embarked on a cultural journey through our beautiful region. From the historic Vaja Castle and the elegant Luby Castle to the unique heritage of Szatmárcseke, the engineering marvel of the Túristvándi Watermill, and the innovation of Mátészalka—it was a day to remember!

He saw snow for the very first time in his life here, in Nyíregyháza. He arrived from Ghana with over 15 years of teaching experience — and now, after passing his final exams, he is ready to receive his Master's degree.

Coordinated by the TEMPUS Public Foundation, Hungarian higher education made its debut at the largest educational event in the Asia-Pacific region (APAIE 2026), with a total of eight domestic higher education institutions participating. Held in Hong Kong from February 23 to 27, the education fair aimed to strengthen international partnerships and showcase current and innovative trends in higher education.

Elias Youssef, Lead Mentor for HÖOK Stipendium Hungaricum Mentor Network participated in a two-day training in the beginning of November, collecting experiences and memories.

On 20 October 2025, the University of Nyíregyháza had the honour of welcoming Her Excellency Gülşen Karanis Ekşioğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, and Ms. Ebru Aydin, Third Secretary, for an introductory visit.

The Music Institute of the University of Nyíregyháza organizes its next BURSA Dance House event on 15th of October 2025. starting at 8 p.m. in the Szertár.

In October, a follow-up meeting was organized for first-year scholarship holders of University of Nyíregyháza to check on their settling-in process and ensure that all essential documentation was completed.
