2024.March 20. - The Centre for English Language Studies, Sunway University has received a delegation from the University of Nyíregyháza to discuss future collaborations. After a full day of talks and discussions, we are excited about and looking forward to possible projects.

2024. March 19.- His Excellency Dr. Marjan Cencen, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, Tjasa Vucko, Consul and Cultural Attaché, and Jiri Kocica, sculptor and associate professor at the University of Primorska visited the University of Nyíregyháza. During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the universities and visited the exhibition of the students of the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design of the University of Primorska in the exhibition hall of the Central Library of the University of Nyíregyháza. The exhibition was opened by Dr. Tibor Zielinski DLA, Adjunct Professor, Sculptor. The programme ended with a concert by students and guest artists of the Institute of Music.

2024. March 19.- As an important stop of his visit to Nyíregyháza, on 6 March His Exc. Gabriel-Cătălin ŞOPANDĂ, the Romanian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Budapest, met with the management of the higher education institution. The delegation was received by Dr. János Hárskuti, President of the University, who presented the educational and research activities of the institution, its internationalisation objectives and the possibilities of building relations with Romanian partner universities.

2024. March 6. - The University of Nyíregyháza, in the framework of the "Move with the University of Nyíregyháza" programme series, organised by the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, held an Ice Disco at the city ice rink.
