Research objectives:
Hungarian Bird Atlas
Description and results of research:
An applied ecological project in cooperation with MME/BirdLife Hungary for preparing an Atlas of Hungarian breeding and wintering bird species, based on timed surveys carried out during 2017-2018 and the monitoring of common birds. Modelling and producing specific maps (occurence, observation probability, density, trend) using AI method (random forest) based on observation, habitat, climate and soil GIS databases.
