Research objectives:
Using technical solutions for safe and sustainable agricultural systems to help improve the competitiveness of Hungarian agriculture
Key areas: application of energy-saving solutions in agricultural technologies, environmentally friendly, chemical-saving and safe crop protection, special agricultural mechanization solutions for agricultural production, implementation of cyclical economic models for agricultural by-products and waste recycling in agricultural production

A further aim is the widespread use of advanced  (alternative and developed) motor fuels in tractors and motor vehicles.

Description and results of research:

Developing a periodic review of plant protection machines, establishment of a testing station. Creating an engine test system (brake pad laboratory installation). Successful use of alternative propellants in diesel engine operation. Comparative analysis of motor fuels, practical use of results. qualification of renewed diesel engines with brake pad measurements.

In the course of the research and development work, five domestic companies managed to establish cooperation and to create a reference place, furthermore to implement four major project proposals.
