SHORT DESCRIPTION
The aim of the programme is to train music experts who are able to meet the requirements of art dissemination in music in good taste and with creative decisiveness with their theoretical and practical proficiency, their knowledge about the cultural and art institutional systems.
The music courses in the programme are based on the Kodály Concept. Students will acquire sufficient knowledge of Hungarian music life and will be able to perform choral manager, choral director and choral vocal tasks in various type of choirs.
SPECIALIZATION
Specialization in Choral conducting, choral singing is available with professional traineeship for 5 semesters. The place of the art traineeship is at the music workshop, Cantemus Mixed Choir, which has become world-famous following the principles of Zoltán Kodály's music education. - Proof of Language proficiency - upper intermediate level / CEFR B2 level or higher
(Having a language certificate is not a compulsory requirement. English communication skills can be proved on the online interview during the application procedure.)

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION MODE
Oral entrance examination via internet: practical entrance examination by using a video connection after submitting a music portfolio
DESCRIPTION OF THE SELECTION AND THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION PROCESS
THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING PARTS:
• submitting of a music portfolio
• online interview (25-30 minutes)
• evaluation of application documents
The application procedure is based on an evaluation system of 100 points (50 points are given for motivation, educational background and evaluation of portfolio and C.V., and the other 50 points for language proficiency and intercultural preparedness according to the online interview). Following the formal check-up of the application documents, the staff of the institute will organize the oral a nd practical entrance examination.
