CARIEER OPPURTUNITIES
They will be competent in managerial positions in national or international organizations, companies, local councils, cultural management, education, journalism and public relations. They may also continue their studies in any English MA programme.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The aim of the programme is to train experts who have a proficient command of the English language and have profound knowledge regarding English-speaking cultures.

SPECIALIZATION
English Studies (50 credits, mainly for those wishing to continue their studies on MA-level); Translation Studies (English - Hungarian / Hungarian - English) (50 credits, chiefly for students of a more practical orientation)

ADMISSION

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Secondary school leaving certificate
- Good results in English (at least 80%)
- Proof of Language proficiency - upper intermediate level / CEFR B2 level or higher
(Having a language certificate is not a compulsory requirement. English communication skills can be proved on the online interview during the application procedure.)

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
All applicants must attend an online oral interview in English.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
English language skills at upper intermediate level or higher (at level CEFR B2 or IELTS 5.5) – Having a language certificate is not a compulsory requirement. The language level will be assessed during the online interview.

DESCRIPTION OF THE SELECTION AND THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION PROCESS

THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING PARTS:
•    online interview (20-30 minutes)
•    evaluation of application documents

The application procedure is based on an evaluation system of 100 points (50 points are given for motivation and educational background, and the other 50 points for language proficiency and intercultural preparedness according to the online interview). Following the formal check-up of the application documents, the staff of the institute will organize the oral entrance examination.
