The graduates have career prospects as the first officer at an airline and flight instructor at an approved training organization.
SHORT DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the training is to train professionals who are ready to employed by an airline as professional pilots with frozen ATPL(A) (Airline Transport Pilot Licence, Aircraft) licence after the integrated pilot training. Additionally they will be familiar with the engineering aspects of aviation and able to support the air operation, ground handling and transport operations at aircraft operators and organizations and carry out compliance monitoring and safety management activities also. After gaining the necessary professional experience they are able to fulfill the requirements as nominated post-holders also.
After successful completion of the programme the following ratings will be obtained: ATPL(A) theory, CPL(A) (commercial pilot license) ME/IR (A) (multi-engine instrument rating), NVFR (Night VFR), MCC (Multi Crew Cooperation), UPRT (Upset Recovery Training). Belonging to the exams at the end of the semesters, successful examinations at the Civil Aviation Authority are needed in the following subjects: Air Law, Aircraft General Knowledge (Airframe/Systems/Power plant, and Instrumentation, Mass and Balance, Performance, Flight Planning and Monitoring, Human Performance, Meteorology, General Navigation, Radio Navigation, Operational Procedures, Principles of Flight, VFR and IFR Communications. The practical training comprises 143 flight hours on aircraft, 40 hours (IFR) and 20 hours of Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) of simulator training (FNPT II).
