CEEPUS Network Receives International Acclaim: Our University Celebrates a Shared Success

In May 2025, the CEEPUS Ministerial Conference was held in Budapest, Hungary, not only as a strategic forum for higher education cooperation in Central Europe, but also as a celebration of achievements. At the evening reception, Richárd Bodrogi, Director General of the Tempus Public Foundation, welcomed the participants and Balázs Hankó, Minister of Culture and Innovation, and Michael Schedl, Secretary General of the CEEPUS Central Office, presented the CEEPUS Ministerial Awards to the two most outstanding networks for the academic years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. The University of Nyíregyháza was also honoured.

Among the awards presented at the CEEPUS Ministerial Conference was the INTEGRATION Mechanical Engineering Cooperation Network, coordinated by the Poznań University of Technology (Poland), which involves 32 higher education institutions from 11 countries, including three Hungarian partners, the University of Nyíregyháza and two other universities. The award was received on behalf of the latter institution by Dr Zoltán Kovács, Vice President for International Relations and Innovation.

This prestigious recognition confirms the University of Nyíregyháza's commitment to international professional cooperation, mobility and innovative technical knowledge sharing," said Dr. Zoltán Kovács, Vice President of the University of Nyíregyháza, after the event.
