Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) opportunities at the University of Nyíregyháza 2023/2024

Dear Students!

The Erasmus+ partner of the University of Nyíregyháza in Romania, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca and the Center for International Cooperation are offering a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) for the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024, between 14 and 22 March, under the title "Empowered Leadership: Managing People & Business Skills".

Within the framework of the Blended Intensive Programme, students will participate in a mixed mobility, which will take place partially in the host university in person (18 March - 22 March) and partially online (14 March - 15 March).

During the programme, participants will explore themes of empowered leadership in a multicultural context, strengthening their ability to inspire, guide and nurture their talents. This programme focuses on the practice of Human Resource Management (HRM), enabling participants to understand how to attract, develop and retain a diverse workforce in an international business environment.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet Romanian students and businesses, understand the latest HRM practices and management approaches. Through workshops, case studies, practical projects and guided discussions, students will gain an in-depth understanding of effective HRM strategies and the application of leadership principles that contribute to an organisation's success.

The reasons to attend the programme:

- BIP mobility is eligible for Erasmus+ grant, information on which can be obtained from Aliz Bartha, Institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator

- No participation fee

- Participants can get an insight into Romanian academic and cultural life

- Accommodation on campus is available on request at reasonable prices (around 7 EUR/night in a triple room or 10 EUR/night in a double room).

For the presence part of the BIP mobility, an Erasmus+ grant is available (€70 per day) and, depending on the participant's social situation, an equal opportunities grant can be applied for (one-off €100 + travel allowance).
