CEEPUS Network Receives International Acclaim: Our University Celebrates a Shared Success

In May 2025, the CEEPUS Ministerial Conference was held in Budapest, Hungary, not only as a strategic forum for higher education cooperation in Central Europe, but also as a celebration of achievements. At the evening reception, Richárd Bodrogi, Director General of the Tempus Public Foundation, welcomed the participants and Balázs Hankó, Minister of Culture and Innovation, and Michael Schedl, Secretary General of the CEEPUS Central Office, presented the CEEPUS Ministerial Awards to the two most outstanding networks for the academic years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024.

Trip to Sóstó ZOO

Two of our HÖOK mentor students, Nóri and Viktória, recently organized a delightful trip to the Sóstó Zoo for a group of international students. The sun was shining, making it the perfect day to explore the zoo and its many fascinating animals. The students had a great time discovering exotic species and learning more about wildlife. Nóri and Viktória guided the group through the zoo, ensuring everyone felt welcome and engaged. Laughter, photos, and great conversations filled the day.

National Tree Planting Day

The University of Nyíregyháza, in collaboration with the Green Action Group, joined the National Tree Planting Day. On March 1st, four trees were planted at four different locations on the campus with the help of volunteers and organizations. The National Tree Planting Day was organized for the first time this year, both within and beyond the country’s borders, initiated by the 10 Million Trees Foundation.

BURSZA Dance House

The Music Institute of the University of Nyíregyháza organizes its next BURSA Dance House event on 12th of March 2025. starting at 8 p.m. in the Buliding "B" Mosaic Hall. 

 

Art Exhibition at the University of Nyíregyháza

The exhibition of students from the University of Primorska, hosted by the University of Nyíregyháza, offers a general overview of what the young generation of future contemporary artists and designers perceives and contemplates. It represents the development of their work, as the exhibited pieces come from students of different academic years. At the same time, it is just a fragment of their journey, as each of them already has considerable experience.
