The state and problems of music education since the turn of the millennium
Description and results of research:
I’m currently conducting research at the Debrecen University Doctoral School of Health and Sciences. Throughout my studies in pedagogy the basis of my research has been the analysis of the societal status, prestige and socio-cultural positioning of music teachers. In service of my research I have analyzed not only practicing educators but the entire training population in light of all the changes to their schooling while also addressing the difficulties of each career stage and their solutions.

During the school year of 2018/2019, I was involved in the study conducted by the Art Education Research Team at the Art of the Future Foundation and the Debrecen University Doctoral School of Health and Sciences with support from the Research Institute of Artistic Theory and Methodology at the Hungarian Academy of Arts throughout which I have assessed art educators.
Other information:
My artistic activity is defined by choir directing. I am currently the leader of the Nyíregyháza University Choir as well as co-leader of several choirs at the Cantemus Choir Institute where I also sing.
